Refunds and Replacement

If your goods are damaged, you’ve been sent the wrong items, they don’t meet your expectations, or you’ve simply changed your mind, you can choose between a refund or a replacement.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unused, with the tamper-proof seal intact, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide your receipt or proof of purchase.

Please contact us within 14 days of your order date via email at info@yourlocalhoney.co.uk with your name, order number, and reason for requesting a refund or replacement.

Refunds are made to the same form of payment used for the original purchase (i.e. debit/credit card or PayPal account).

Below we explain the different circumstances where refunds and replacements apply:


Damaged Parcels

We’re very sorry if your order has arrived damaged. Although we pack our honey with care, accidents can occasionally occur during delivery. In this case, we can offer you either a full refund or a replacement.

We’ll refund you using the same payment method used for your purchase, or, if you prefer, send replacement items the next working day free of charge.

Please safely dispose of any damaged items.


Wrong Item(s)

If you have received the wrong items, we sincerely apologise. We’ll happily refund or replace your order and cover any return postage or courier costs.

Items Not as Described

We take great care to ensure our product descriptions are accurate and our honey meets high standards. If you feel your items do not match their description, we will gladly refund or replace them, and cover the cost of return shipping.

You’ve Changed Your Mind

If you wish to return your order because you’ve changed your mind, you’ll need to cover the cost of returning the items to us (if they’ve already been dispatched).


Returning Your Items

If you’re returning your order, please repack it securely and send it back to us within 14 days of notifying us of your return. Include your name, order number, and reason for return.

As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. These rights are not affected by this Returns and Refunds Policy or any other terms and conditions. For further advice, please contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
